About K Quince & Son Transport Ltd

Established for over 60 years, K. Quince & Son Transport Ltd has the experience and resources to provide a reliable, cost-effective service to existing and potential new customers alike.

K. Quince & Son Ltd were delivering produce to the London Markets as early as 1958, with John Quince using a Bedford TK with a payload of just 5 tonnes!! John and his father Ken, the founder of the company, expanded the business in the early sixties, employing their first extra driver in 1963. Ten years later, K. Quince & Son Ltd added the popular British-built ERF to handle the workload. The Volvo brand was introduced in the late 1970’s, and is still used to this day.

K. Quince & Son Ltd continued to grow with the expansion of a wholesale business in Bournemouth. After Kevin Sheath joined the company in 1987, John and Kevin continued to develop their professional and personal service with their existing customers, which resulted in them forming K. Quince & Son Transport in 2009.

In 2014 another vehicle was purchased to help with their growing customer base. Russell Hunter joined the company as the new driver.

With further success over the next 2 years, a decision was taken in 2016 to form a limited Company. K Quince & Son Transport Ltd was founded on April 1st 2016.

Kevin Sheath and John Quince are the 2 directors. Mrs Patricia Sheath joined as Company Secretary.

A continued expansion resulted in a tanker being added to the fleet for distribution of liquid fertiliser. Two new vehicles were added in 2021 with a used Volvo and our first ever Scania.
